Anakin's Dark Deeds by John Williams
If you're trying to guess why this song creeps me out, I already know that you're guess is wrong. Let me explain:
When I first saw ROTS, I wasn't paying any attention to the music, like most people who watch movies. Actually, I don't remember my brain registering any music after the Main Title. Later, I got the Corellian Edition CD from the library. When I heard this song, I paired it with the wrong scene. In my mind, I saw Anakin fighting Obi-Wan, rather than Anakin killing Separatists. Even now that I know what REALLY happened during this song, I can still see Battle of the Heroes every time I listen to it. I love this song-songs should paint a vivid picture if they are written well-but I can't listen to the end too often, and definitely not before bed. 'Cause every time I hear it, I can see the flames... *shudders convulsively*

Definitely some haunting themes from two of my favorite movies. Another creepy theme is the main theme from Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. Below is a link to the theme. Also thanks for following my blog!

Yeah... those two songs *shudders*
ReplyDeleteI love both of these songs a lot, especially "Gollum's Song". It's creepy, but still an old favorite of mine.
ReplyDeleteI always have had vivid imagination when it comes to listening to music. Any type of music I listen to, I make up a scene with people I know and the music fits in so perfectly.
ReplyDeleteListening to songs like these do make me shudder and I think of pretty scary things, but if you didn't have creepy music, where's the fun in eing scared? :)
Thanks for sharing this music. I love to listen to them!
