  1. This book is amazing-story and cover! I absolutely loved it. But do those of you wondering about Ms. Vaughn's other book, Voices of Dragons: DON'T READ IT.
It caught my eye at the library and I picked it up. From the jacket description, it souded good, but when I got it home, I couldn't read past the first few chapters. Although the main story about Kay and the dragons was intriguing, it had a lot of inappropriate material. It makes me sad to put aside and book I'm in the middle of, but my choice was clear on that one.
But the things in Ms. Vaughn's first book did not contaminate Steel, though, this one is a must read.

  2. Thanks for posting this. I LOVE the cover art, so I may just have to check this one out for myself.
I also just received your message about the Blogging for Books program problems. I'm so sorry to hear that you're having so much trouble from the get-go.
The reason your account only showed non-fiction titles was probably due to a couple of factors. One, Waterbrook lumps 'fantasy' and 'inspirational' together into one category, so if a non-fiction book qualifies as 'inspirational' it can get thrown in there. Two, Waterbrook doesn't always have newly released fantasy titles available. They only have them every so often, and they only offer so many free review copies of each one.
As far as your troubles go with no one responding to your email, I'm not sure what to tell you. I've never had to contact them for help with anything, thankfully, so I'm not sure if this is normal or not. And concerning your account not letting you in, I'm also not sure about that one. Have you contacted tech support or the help line about that? That would be the first course of action I would recommend.
Again, so sorry that you're having so much trouble! : (
